There has been a veritable exodus from the Emirates this summer, as Matthieu Flamini, Aleksander Hleb and most recently Gilberto Silva all leaving for the promise of a bigger pay day, but Denilson says he is more than prepared to 'tough it out'.
"I'm just focused on Arsenal, but I know some other clubs were looking at me," the 20-year-old midfield all-rounder told Setanta Sports.
"Last year I heard Barcelona wanted to buy me, but I really like it at Arsenal.
"For me this is the best team, it's where I want to be. I want to show what I can do for Arsenal."
Denilson was used mostly as a substitute by Arsene Wenger last season, but the French manager has already said that he believes that the ex Sao Paolo starlet is capable of filling the void in midfield left by Flamini.
